This is my fifth  year teaching at Babylon Elementary School and I am so excited to be here for another school year!   Before  teaching in Babylon I taught 3rd grade  in New York City and  5th & 6th grade in Maryland.   I graduated  with a degree in Inclusive Education from SUNY Cortland.  (Go Red Dragons!)  After graduating I completed my masters in Literacy Education.

Some of my favorite things to do include, visiting new places... If I had to pick my favorite destination, I would pick Australia Mate!   I love being outdoors and always take my dog Hurley on hikes and out on the boat to swim.  I coach both field hockey and softball here at Babylon, maybe one day I will coach you too!  I love learning new things but most of all I love being a teacher to all my first graders!   

 

This past summer I got married, so you may still hear me being called Ms. Galbraith or Ms. G.  My husband Matt and I had our honeymoon in South Africa.  In South Africa we saw the big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant), it was an incredible experience!
